Designing input and output layou

What are the factors must be considered when designing input and output screen form?

1) The analyst must make it easy both for the worker to fill the data collection form and the sectary to read it, so he can put boxes in for every character of required input.

example to write the name Abdullah, he will do:

A/b/d/u/l/l/a/h 

2) The screen must be easy to used, attractive and limit the errors that may occur. For example use different colors for each section, eg: Name : Mohammed 

             Class: 12A

             School: MSQ

3) There must be guidelines to workers on how to fill the data.

E.G: Name : Mohammed  ( The first letter must be capital )

     Class: 12A      ( Use on numbers )

     Date of birth : 26/3/1997 ( You can only write the DoB in this form: xx/yy/zzzz
